Day 66My dog, Daisy, had five puppies on February 15th...4 boys and 1 girl. The little guy above resembles the dragon from The Neverending Story.

Day 67While bathing after a very messy meal, I was able to capture Fender's new teeth!
Day 68Hunter made this cake for our Insect themed week.
Day 69Hunter will be playing tee-ball in May. I got him a new glove so we can practice in the mean time. He had a glove before but it was one of those kiddy Lightning McQueen ones. He was so happy to get this and is looking forward to playing!

While visiting my parents, I decided to take a look in my mom's curio cabinet. She recently inherited a bunch of knick knacks that belonged to my grandma. I found these adorable Boston Terrier figures. I'm a sucker for all things Boston Terrier, since I am a mama to two....errr seven for now!
Day 59Our fake meat for breakfast. They are both made by MorningStar and are oh so tasty!

Day 60 I like to keep an eye on Slick Deals for good deals. I even have text messages sent to my phone when a new hot deal is posted. Last month, Bed Bath and Beyond had one box of Bahama Breeze votives for $1.99! It was a price mistake and BB&B was very generous and sent out all the orders.

Day 31

This is the first day of the historic snow and ice storm. My area, in Missouri, was predicted to get 2 feet of ice on top of 2 inches of ice. The storm shifted and we got about an inch of ice and a couple inches of snow. At the time of this picture, I was getting a bit worried. I didn't want the power to go out, due to the storm. Thankfully, it did not happen.

As a former skateboarder, I really love seeing skateboarding brand clothing for kids. I think it's super cute.

BTW Independent is a truck company. They are the part that connects the wheels to the board.

We packed the family up and took a trip (a mere five miles) to go antique shopping. We love going to antique shops!

My mom came to visit me and I decided that I wanted to go shopping at Walgreens with her. She works there and I can use her discount! Anyways, as we were leaving we heard a meow. We looked around and a cat came under her car. I knew that there was a terrible snow storm coming (a.k.a. the snowpocalypse) and me being the animal lover I am, I couldn't leave it outside. We've put up found kitten notices all over. If she belongs to someone, I would like to find her owners. If not, I guess she'll be a part of our family.

My oldest and my youngest on 1/11/11. Fender turned 9 months old on the 11th! Only three more months and he'll be a year old. :tear: My baby is getting so big.

Day 12

I snapped this cute picture of Ryder while I took him and Hunter out to play. He was a little upset that I wanted to take a picture. It's very hard to take a decent picture of him these days.

Day 13

Fender using a Thinkbaby sippy cup (after eating some tofu.) This is the only sippy cup that he likes. We tried a lot with him.

Day 14

We were on the U-Us (five senses) unit during the time of this picture. I included all the boys on this activity, on our touch day!

Macaroni and cheese pizza=the best pizza ever! To me anyways...I'm like a kid when it comes to mac & cheese!

We finished up Lesson 6: Tt turtle by making a turtle out of a paper plate. Hunter doesn't look too thrilled because he just came down with a fever. My little trooper wanted to work, despite not feeling well.

We decided that it was finally time for Fender to move from his baby tub to the bath seat. He had a blast! He splashed and played in the tub for over a half hour. He was extremely upset when he had to get out!

Today, Hunter played, Guess the object. He guessed everything on the first guess!

Recently, Nicki Minaj teamed up with M•A•C COSMETICS to create a limited edition lipstick, called, Pink Friday to celebrate her debut album. It was on sale for four consecutive Fridays only. The last day to purchase this was December 17 :( It is a very bright pink *think Barbie* in a creamy satin. It is very girly! Exfoliating is a must, it definitely shows dead skin otherwise. I adore this lipstick and Nicki Minaj.

Purging plastic

My husband and I are having a great time ridding our house of items that have toxic materials. We've taken a lot small steps by making our home safer. To list a few things, we use natural personal care products, cleaners, I tossed my plastic mixing bowls, plus a few other simple things.

Over the past year or so my husband and I made the effort of buying safer toys, but we didn't toss out the old. I guess, it was the semi-hoarder in me that couldn't let them go. I set that part of me aside and purged their rooms until I couldn't purge any more.

Shortly after cleaning their room an unbelievable deal popped up on Amazon, the Plan Toys Eco Town was only $40! I quickly snatched up that deal.

Amazon has been rolling out amazing green toy deals! I'm starting my storage for birthday presents!

Happy Birthday, Camille

Four years ago today, I was in labor with my angel, Camille Faye. She was born at 9:31 pm and died 10 minutes later, due to VACTERL syndrome. She was 18 inches long and weighed 3 lbs. 6 oz. I carried her for 40.5 weeks. Happy Birthday, my sweet angel.

Blessing in disguise

My husband losing his job has been a blessing in disguise. We've been spending lots of time together as a family. It's been wonderful! We've played tons of board games, built forts, cuddled on the couch while watching Toy Story 3....and Monster Jam, and a lot of good 'ol fashioned family fun!

I've scored so many great deals online since Black Friday! The best has been the awesome Mattel deals! Hot Wheels diecast, play sets, and trick tracks are HUGE in my house. I got unbelievable deals! I can't wait to see my boys' eyes light up on Christmas! They are going to be so ecstatic! I'm having a hard time shopping for my youngest son, he will be 8 1/2 months on Christmas. I've been scouring the internet for presents for him. He's incredibly hard to shop for since my other two boys are five and two. I still have a majority of their toys from they were younger.

My husband had a interview with Coca-Cola a few days ago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he gets the job. He obviously has lots of experience in the beverage industry. They don't need someone to start until two more weeks. It's fine by me! My oldest son wants to go to the St. Louis Science Center to see the Grossology exhibit. Next Tuesday, would have been my daughter's 4th birthday. We'll be going to her grave site to decorate it for her birthday and Christmas. Our town is having it's Christmas parade next week. I'm sure there are many other things to do with it being the best time of the year!

I recently signed up to be a Bzzagent. I was lucky enough to try out the new Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh! toothpaste.

I was a bit reluctant to try it at first because I'm not a fan of mint at all. I was blown away with how pleasant it tasted! The mint flavor wasn't overpowering. In need of some prayers

On Friday, my husband lost his job. As you can imagine, things are going to be terribly difficult for my family and I. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers at this time, so that he finds a job quickly. We live in an area that high paying jobs are pretty much non-existent. I'm hoping that he can find something close to his old pay. He's already applied for quite a few places online. He's going to be out first thing tomorrow morning applying for jobs.

If he doesn't find anything soon, we will have to move, due to no income. We rent our house, because we knew that are current town wasn't were we'd be permanently. I love our house. My boys love it. I'm really scared right now. It's really hard to think of the good thoughts right now. I'm trying to being positive. I'm only 26 and I've been through way too much. I lost a child at the age of 22. There has been numerous hardships within the last 4 years.

I'm truly grateful for every giveaway that I have won over the past few months. I saved it all for Christmas. I'm thanking the Lord that I did. I know Christmas isn't about gifts. I'm just so thankful that I'm able to give them nice stuff because of giveaways.

I have three beautiful boys that I have to be strong for. Please pray for me to keep my head up through this and that my husband finds a job quickly. Thank you so much.

Zhu-niverse Six Flags St. Louis

Immediately after my oldest son seen a Zhu Zhu Pet commercial last year, he asked for one. I could not say no to the cute little hamsters. At that time, I didn't realize how hard they were to get a hold of. I went to Wal-Mart to find some and I had no luck. I ended up finding out that they were one of the "it" toys for Christmas. Great.

Thanks to my super powers I was able to get all the first generation Zhu Zhu Pets, including Patches, and many accessories.

Christmas morning 2009

My boys loved their haul for Christmas. Thankfully, they didn't turn into a toy that was buried in the toy box a month later. They are STILL played with a few times a week. Now, because my boys are in love with their Zhu Zhu Pets, I was super excited to take part of the Zhu-niverse tour!

The Zhu Zhu Pets and Kung Zhu hamsters went on a road trip across the United States. The kiddos and I were able to join them on their last stop of the tour at Six Flags. We had a blast! It was a perfect fall day-beautiful clear blue skies and crisp fall air.

The event had several activities for children...or adults if you are like me!

Children had the opportunity to go in the life size hamster habitat. This was Ryder's favorite...

...despite his lack of enthusiasm. He's at a stage where he hates having his picture taken.

{Yes, I went inside the habitat with the boys. I am only 5'2", so it was really easy for me to explore the habitat myself. }

Hunter's favorite part of the Zhu-niverse tour was playing with the Kung Zhus.

He also liked playing with the regular Zhu Zhu pets. He loved the pizzeria set. I know what addition to his habitat he will be getting for Christmas!

They had a Kung Zhu Training Grounds. It took a little bit of coaxing to get Hunter to stop playing with the Zhu Zhu Pets! When he finally tried out the training grounds, he loved it!

At the end of the At the end of the course there was a gong waiting to be hit.

Ryder had a lot of fun at the gaming station. He knows how to use a Nintendo DS quite well for his age, since Hunter has one. It was so fun playing the Zhu Zhu Pets game. You care for your pets and take them through mazes. It's a fun game for all ages!

They had a Which Zhu Are You? station. Hunter answered some short questions and the computer matched him up to the Zhu Zhu Pet he was most like. His results ended up being his favorite Zhu Zhu...

PAX!

Pax is his favorite because he has a skull on his back...and of course, because he has a mohawk!

I was also able to get this video of Hunter in the hamster wheel.

The Zhu-niverse Tour was a free event and open to the public with admission to Six Flags. Thank you to MomSelect for giving my family three tickets to attend the Zhu-niverse Tour.

MFW - The Letter S

Last week we studied the Sun and the letter S.

The highlight of the week was reading Sun Bread by Elisa Kleven. We even made some Sun Bread of our own!

You can find the recipe here. This was my first time I successfully made bread! It was extremely easy and so yummy! The boys enjoyed their bread by spreading cherry jam that I recently picked up at our town's fall festival.

I've been slacking on my blog. Homeschooling Hunter is taking more of my time than I anticipated. I am not complaining though! Hunter absolutely loves it. He is so excited to wake up in the mornings to learn.

Next Monday Hunter starts youth basketball. He is looking forward to it. We plan on signing him up for Futsal this winter. I really hope that it works out. I signed him up for soccer when he was three and we did not have a good results. He ran around the entire time and did not listen to his coach. I know it was too early to sign him up for team sports, but I was super excited. I love soccer. I played it in high school. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Yesterday was the first back to school day for the public schools in Farmington. We wanted to celebrate, "not going to school." We decided to go for an outing to Elephant Rocks State Park, in Ironton, Missouri. It was beautiful out and the temperature was in the 80's. The first day in a long time that it wasn't in the upper 90's.

1. Do you think mustaches are sexy?
No. I'm not a fan of facial hair. I hate stubble. I honestly don't get the whole 'stache trend right now.

2. What's the last concert you've been to?
Earth Crisis and Reign Supreme. Walls of Jericho was suppose to be there, but they canceled the show :( Earth Crisis was a huge disappointment. They were the first hardcore band I listened to back in 1999. It took me about 11 years to see them live (they broke up and got back together) and they were lame-0. Reign Supreme totally rocked my socks off though.

3 What was your favorite 80's sitcom?
Roseanne. Hands down. This is STILL my favorite show. I watched it multiple times a week. I can watch re-run after re-run and I never get tired of it.

4. Were you named after anyone?
I'm pretty sure I wasn't.

5. When you buy new clothes, do you wash before wearing?
Gross. You never know what kind of person tried on the clothes before you bought them. They could have been sweaty or what if they tried on your pants with no underwear. This is a case of, "Better safe than sorry."

6. If you didn't blog, what would you do with your spare time?
Probably catch up on TV. The only current show that I watch these days is Degrassi. It's a show geared for teenagers, but to be fair I started watching it as a teen. I'm nearly 26 and the show is still going and just as addicting as ever.

I got a haircut today. Fender is now 3 1/2 months old and my hair is starting to fall out. Oh joy! I got tired of finding my long hair all over the place. At least when I do find my hair, it won't be as long! I love the salon that I went to! I've lived in the town I lived in for 1 1/2 years now and I haven't been to a salon that I loved. They were all just meh.

I want to post some pictures, but the hubby has my camera right now. He's at the county fair, seeing the country musician, Josh Thompson. We are taking the boys to the fair tomorrow, because it's kids day. I hope that it's not excruciatingly hot.

Hunter, my oldest, came out of his room a few minutes ago to tell me that he has a shadow on his wall that looks like a wiener. Really? Boys will be boys? I dunno, it's been the weirdest thing out of his mouth.

I'm super duper happy! I won an Ergo baby carrier from Babes in Disneyland! I only own hotslings, which I love, but I've been wanting an Ergo for quite some time now!

Fuming over a cupcake taggie

Two years ago, when Ryder was a baby, I bought this cute cupcake taggie off ebay.

Yes, it's pink and oh so girly. I had to have it, because I love cupcakes. I figured it would be ok for him to play with while we were at home. I gave it to him a few times, but thankfully, he preferred a Disney Cars taggie I got from a craft fair. Thankfully? Yes, thankfully because today I discovered this...

Not one, but two freakin' pins were left in it!

I'm so pissed that this lady was so careless. It's an item made for babys! I remember being aggravated about this purchase in the first place. It took her a month to send it and she sent the wrong one. Now I'm pissed off at this damn cupcake all over again. I'm also pissed off at myself for not inspecting this, or any other hand sewn item I have bought in the past. I don't know if it ever poked Ryder while he was playing with it. Just thinking about it sickens me.

I love homemade items. It's not going to discourage me from buying homemade items. In fact I purchased a few items off Etsy last night.

The moral of that story is to inspect your handmade items for pins!

3. Do you have any scars? If so, what's the story behind it (them?)?

I don't really have many scars. My biggest one is a little one above my left eye. Luckily, you can't really see it because of my eyebrow. I got this one when I was in the 3rd grade. I was playing baseball at recess. I decided to be the catcher (with no equipment.) I got too close to a hitter taking a practice swing and BAM! The next thing I know is that I'm at a hospital getting stitches. I can remember clearly not wanting them because I thought the stitches were made of cat guts.

4. What is a food that you like to eat, but others might think it's gross or weird?

It's not too weird I guess, but vegetarian "meat." I love pretty much every vegetarian faux meat.

5. Have you ever seen a tornado in real life?

Being that I'm from the midwest, yes. I've been in a few, but have only seen one. I must have been about 16ish. My dad and I were coming back from shopping on a Sunday. As we got closer to home it started getting dark. A hard, sudden storm hit us. We were seriously 2 miles from our house. My dad wanted to pull over. I insisted that we drive home, since we were so close. We were driving at a really slow pace, because we were being hammered with rain and hail. Not to mention the wind was blowing his little 'ol Cavalier all over the road. Then we see it. The tornado off in a distance. Thankfully, it was heading in the opposite direction. If we had been driving any faster, we would have actually drove up on it. Scary!

Fender is 3 months old

Fender turned 3 months old on the 11th! I can't believe that he's that old already! It seems like yesterday that I was waiting patiently for his arrival.

Every month on the 11th, I take a picture of Fender next to Brobee. (Yo Gabba Gabba character! It's Ryder's. He's obsessed with YGG!) He's getting so big. He has outgrown all newborn cloths. He just grew out of his pajama gowns. I'm sad. I love, love, love gowns. They are super easy for nighttime diaper changes. Oh, speaking of diapers, he's officially outgrown Kissaluv size 0. :tear: It's going to be bittersweet getting rid of them, since he's our last kid.

You have to get there early. The line starts forming very early. If you get there and the line is down the side of the store and in the parking lot, don't be discouraged. Stand in line still. They had a TON of diapers in the past.

Also on that day you can pick up the 4.0! I don't need anymore 3.0s. I do want to go just to pick up a 4.0! I may ask my mom if she wants to come. We haven't had a day shopping together since before I had Fender!

Shortly, after I found out that I was pregnant with Fender last fall. Cotton Babies did a $1 sale. I was super excited. Ryder at the time pretty much turned 1. I knew that I would have 2 in diapers by the time the baby got here. My stash at the time wasn't very big. It was good enough for just Ryder. The $1 sale couldn't have came at a better time. I stood in line for over an hour, but it was well worth the wait!

I'm not sure why some are deemed as well loved. Most of mine were in good condition. The velco in a few were shot. No biggie at all for $1! I have 50 diapers in my stash that are well-loved!

My 4th

My 4th of July was very laid back. My husband and I cooked some BBQ. I made the boys kiddy strawberry daiquiris. They were really bland. They needed something else, but I couldn't put my finger on it. The boys didn't seem to mind at all.

Luckily, we were able to watch our town's big firework show from our back porch!

No. I don't watch Soap Operas. I don't watch too much TV.

Bloggers Against Drunk Driving Pledge To Stay Sober & Alive

I joined this blog hop, because I feel strongly about drinking and driving. It's such a stupid thing to do and yet so many people drive drunk daily. My family is full of alcoholics and most have had a DUI at some point in their life. My father is included. He got one before I was born. He still drinks, but he doesn't drive and drive.

It's a very common sight where I live to see people drinking and driving. They don't even try to hide it. My husband has witnessed many people sitting with beers between their legs, while he is out driving. I don't understand how people can be so irresponsible.

Attention Bloggers
The Department of Transportation has asked American bloggers to spotlight the critical importance of staying sober behind the wheel this Independence Day. I am very against drinking and driving as I was almost hit by a drunk driver. Luckily a friend of mine was driving in front of me and saw the driver coming off of the highway directly at me and swerved into him, blocking him from hitting me. The police said that I would have been seriously hurt if the driver had hit me instead. My friend's car was totaled and he had to go to physical therapy for a long time. Think before you drink and drive. You normally will be okay but the person you hit might be killed. They also might have their family in the car or just as bad, be someones mother, father, child or loved one.

This also goes for all of you that text and drive. It's the same as being drunk. Nothing is that important that you can't pull over or wait until you get home. You probably say it won't happen to you because you know you are safe when you do it but it can happen to anyone.

Two of my songs love Zhu Zhu pets. I'm know the other one would too, if he was old enough to play with them!
They were lucky enough to get some Zhu Zhus for Christmas and almost the entire playset that was out at the time. They are so cute and fun!

I love going to bed on warm summer nights. I love the breeze blowing in my windows. I love the fresh air. It's very relaxing to hear the insects chirping.

Speaking of insects! Tonight the boys and I are going outside to find fireflies! A childhood memory of mine is going outside on summer nights with my cousins and collecting fireflies! We put them into glass jars with holes in them. It was fun watching the fascinating creatures! We always released them back into the wild before we went to bed at night.

Yesterday, Fedex dropped off a package. I was excited because I thought it was my Hotslings AP. I opened the box and I was shocked! A full size bottle of All Oxi Active was in there. I was seriously confused. I sign up for samples from time to time, but this was obviously no sample. Nor was I expecting a sample from All. I looked on the package for some kind of clue. On the packing label it mentioned a product that I won from a giveaway. Turns out that it was packaged wrong. I contacted the host of the product I was suppose to win. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't sure if I needed to send it back or what. She contacted someone who told me to keep the All and they would send me out what I was suppose to win! Awesome!

The bottle of All that was sent to me! I can't wait to try it out! My two oldest boys are pretty ruff on their clothes. This will be perfect for them!

Billy and I took the boys outside to play in a small pool. It was a baby pool that I bought when Ryder was small. We had resort to it, since our other pool got a hole in it. They didn't seem to mind!

Hunter is so excited that he is now 5. He asks me everyday, "Mommy, am I still 5?" It's so cute. One day I playfully said, "No, you're 6 now." He was was so upset, he was in tears. I guess I can't do that anymore!

I found out that that I could import my old blogs. I have a TON of blogs out here. I jumped around a lot. I was able to import other blogspots. I've been wanting to close those blogs, but I couldn't because of the memories. Now I can! Yay!

I have a few at xanga, 1 at dear diary, and 1 at livejournal (my first blog and I had it for year.) I'll see if I can export them later into the right files.

I went through stages of my life where the blog was something to do with my life at that time. Not smart. I had juicycouturemom here at blogspot....because I was obsessed with Juicy Couture. I still love JC, just not as much. Crazylilcupcake because that's my poodle's registered name. I still have her and love her, but that's not ME.

my3lilbirds at blogspot will be my permanent blogging place. Promises is promises. I like my url. It's fitting. I will always have them. We all love Bob Marley in this house. Fender's middle name is even Marley. So this one will be my final home.

Memorial Day BBQ at my parents

Every year my parents throw parties for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. It's a time to get together with family. If it wasn't for their parties, I wouldn't see a lot of my family from my dad's side. So it's nice to go, just to catch up.

It was the first time that they all got to see Fender. Everyone, Ohh and Ahh -ed over him. They commented on how he is a calm and mellow baby he is! It's true. He's such a pleasant baby.

Hunter enjoyed playing with his cousins, as always. Ryder is a little shy and doesn't join in just yet. He'd rather go off and look for one of my dad's outside cats.
My parents have a four-wheeler and apparently some of the kids thought they were going to ride it.
We left around 7. Hunter didn't want to go home. He cried and cried. He wanted to continue playing with Tyler. Tyler is the oldest boy in the above picture.

When we got home there was still a little bit of daylight left. We let Hunter and Ryder play outside.

Life protects me feeling the finality

It's starting to feel like summer! I'm so excited. Summer means getting out of the house more often. Next weekend, our town is having, Country Days. It's a fun little fair, that Farmington holds every year.
Last year was our first year going, since it was our first year living here.

I got a hotslings in the mail today. I ordered it from Cotton Babies. I wanted to make it easier to take three boys to a fair (well anywhere, not just a fair.) It's very hard trying to push a stroller over the hoses that run all across the ground. A full sized stroller is not ideal! Ryder can be in his small little umbrella stroller. Fender is alseep in the sling right now! I'm so glad that I decided on this one. I kept going back and forth between this and an Ergo. Yes, they are very different. I just couldn't decide. I decided to go with the cheaper route. If he didn't like to be carried, then oh well....Well it doesn't matter because he seems to love it. I'll probably look into buying more carriers now.

I decided to try out Flip diapers. I just received them today. I tried to take a picture of Fender in the Flip. Ryder wanted to join in! Ryder isn't into getting his picture taken these days. So I was happy that he wanted his picture taken.

Yesterday started out so bad. I needed to do so many things before we left for Hunter's photoshoot. Billy had to work, so I was alone to do it all.

I had two loads of clothes to wash and a load of cloth diapers. I manage to get them washed. The clothes aren't put up yet though. I'm saving them for tomorrow.

Ryder found a can of Oust and thought it was hair spray. He sprayed it all in his hair. He was trying to fix his hair apparently.

Oreo had diarrhea in my living room. Awesome. Somehow he managed to let loose near Fender's bassinet. Thankfully, he did not get any on it.

I managed to get a shower while Hunter and Ryder were watching TV in the living room. (Fender was sleeping.) I came back and they took a few pieces of the sectional apart.

I told Hunter to jump in the shower. Ryder took off because he hates the shower. Hunter had to grab some of his Hot Wheels so they could run through the 'car wash.' I found Ryder and took him to the shower. He screamed and threw a fit. He slipped in the shower. Boy did I feel bad. I forced him to take a shower and he fell : ( He got over it fast. As soon as he was washed up I got him out. I let Hunter go back to playing.

I managed to get myself dressed, hair straighten, and make up on. I got Hunter and Ryder clothed. Billy got off work and got Fender ready for me and he got diapers ready.

We got out the door and I knew that I forgot something. I went back into the house to figure out what it was. I couldn't remember. Got the car started and realized that I forgot my nursing cover. I ran and got it. We then headed to the park. It took us a bit to figure out where it was set up.

There was quite a few kids that was there. The shoot was set up so the kids couldn't see the parents. That way they would sit and listen to the photographer. Hunter did well for awhile. Billy, Ryder, Fender, and I just sat on the ground enjoying the day.

Out of nowhere Hunter comes running at us telling us that he had to go pee. Great. No bathrooms were around. We're out in the middle of no where at a state park. I couldn't spot a nasty little outhouse for him to go in. There was too many people around for him to go on a tree. I had to find a cup in the car. I told him to pee in it. I think he did pretty well for the first time ever going in a cup. Only a little got on my car seat. Gross! I need to steam clean it tomorrow.

When Hunter was done we went to Sonic and got some shakes and a banana split. Shakes are buy one get one free! So that was cool. When we got home it was pretty peaceful. Hunter and Ryder played, Fender slept, and Billy and I spent some time together. F

We took Hunter to see Bigfoot the monster truck. This is his favorite monster truck! Thankfully, we are able to catch the truck quite a bit since it's from St. Louis!

While Billy was driving today he noticed that Bigfoot the monster truck was sitting at outside a store. I guess we'll be taking Hunter (and Ryder) to see it. Hunter loves monster trucks. I think Ryder just likes them because Hunter likes them.

Tomorrow Hunter has to go to a state park near us to have a photo shoot for a local magazine. So that should be exciting. This magazine is having some kids watch a magician.

A guy that I went to school with passed away on May 14. He died in his sleep. He had a heart condition.

He just graduated law school on the 8th.

Quite a few people have died from my graduating glass (2003!) and none have affected me like Matt's death. I just can't but think how life is unfair. He touched so many lives. He was a genuinely nice guy.

Forever rest in peace Matt.

On Monday Fender had to go to the hospital to retake his hearing test. Thankfully, he passed!

Yesterday Fender had a doctor's appointment, because he's 1 month old! We all went as a family. Fender now weighs 10 lbs. 3 oz and he's 21 1/4 inches. I love our doctor and I am so glad that I found her! We've seen many doctor's in the past and there is none like her. She's so nice to the boys and genuinely loves kids. She always has a pure smile on her face whenever she sees the boys. She always gives Hunter and Ryder stickers when they tag along for appointments that aren't theirs.

After the doctor we went to Dairy Queen to get something to eat and so the boys could play on their playground. They had a good time while Billy and I ate outside. It was incredibly nice outside yesterday!

When we got home we went strait to working on the garage to prepare for the yard sale. We got the garage done. I just need to go through each room one more time for a final round up of things that I don't need. I keep de-cluttering every time I go into a room to look. It's a very good feeling to get rid of junk that is just taking up space. I made a rule that most items that haven't been touched in 6 months GOES! We got rid of a lot of toys. It's going to look like Toy's R Us threw up in our yard. There is seriously a lot!

I'm fairly certain that it's not going to happen on Friday. The weather looks like it's going to storm really bad.

The entire time Billy and I cleaned the garage, Hunter and Ryder washed the car. Fender slept for the majority of the time.

With Ryder we took his picture next to a stuffed animal every month. That way we could compare his growth every month. We are doing the same thing with Fender.

Happy Mother's Day!

I woke up this morning and found an email from Billy. He had to work this morning :(

I took a few pictures the other day. I love taking pictures of my kiddos!

A little weird tidbit about me...I always use a time stamp on my pictures. I flip out if the camera didn't put it on there for some reason. It helps me organize my pictures when I print them out and put them into a photo album.

Anyways...

Since it's Mother's Day, I wanted to share some guilt I have. As I mentioned Ryder's birthday is on the 13th. We barely got him any presents. He has been so hard to shop for this year!

One reason is that we already have lots of toys that we bought Hunter in the past. I asked for suggestions for presents for him online. Anything someone mentioned we already have. Another reason is that he doesn't really play with a lot of toys. He loves Mega bloks and playing in water. We ended up getting him some Melissa and Dough blocks and a water table. I know he'll like those. The other stuff I ordered off Amazon, I hope he'll like it.

I'm going to go to Famous Footwear and get him a new pair of sandals either tomorrow or Tuesday. JcPenenny only had 2 pairs in his size. I didn't like either. So the search continues...

I'm so flippin' busy these days. Not in a bad stressful way though. I'm just enjoying being a mom to three boys now! Trying to figure out how to split myself three ways between the kids and the hubby!

I'm patiently waiting for Billy to get off of work. He's bringing Chinese takeout home! He should be here any minute.

On a side note Ryder is turning 2 in 6 days!

Once we are done eating, we are going to go out and look for Ryder some birthday presents. JcPenny is having a doorbuster sale right now. I'm going to pick him up some sandals. He's obsessed with shoes!

Yes, it's been 10 days since he was born. I'm now updating.

He was born at 12:03 pm. He weighed 7lbs 3oz. 20.5 inches.

He's such a mellow baby. He's great!

I would like to post a birth story soon. I guess I'll have to type and save it on here. There's no way that I'll be able to get it done otherwise.

Easter was ok. Nothing spectacular. Mainly because a lot of plans were made and my mom ruined them. I didn't cook dinner since because I had planned on people being here. It was suppose to be a pot luck sort of deal. Everyone was going to bring something to make it easy on me. My mom had to work and because of that she decided that it wasn't a good idea to "bother me". So she called people and told them it was off. Thanks mom! {sarcasm} We ended up having Taco Bell. I guess it's not as bad as it sounds, because I have been craving it.

Hopefully my pregnancy is nearing to an end. I lost my mucous plug!

Billy ended up taking Hunter to go clothes shopping. They came back with 3 shorts and 1 shirt. Yup that's enough for spring {insert sarcasm}. At least they did come back with the right sizes. I guess I'll order some clothes online for him.

I really can't wait to have this baby. I'm tired of the phone calls asking if I have had him yet or how I'm feeling. I'm not one that wants to bring attention to myself when I'm pregnant. My mom called me a bit ago. I've already told her to that I will call her if I'm in labor. I was tired of her asking her how I was feeling. She now calls to ask me something stupid. Like today it was, "How to clean to clean a Coach purse." Come on, she doesn't own a Coach purse!

I guess I should be thankful that she does care about her grandkids. That's more than I can say for the other grandma. Billy's mom doesn't seem to care about the boys at all. For example, Billy asked her to go to Toys R Us near her to get Ryder some wooden toys they had on sale. We'd give her the money for them. She said ok. Did she ever to go TRU? NO. Never a mention of the toys again. I mean I could have went to TRU if I knew that I couldn't rely on her.

I do not mean to sound greedy or whatever with this rant about MIL, but she said that she'd send the boys giftcards for Christmas. That way it would be easier to send them in the mail (she lives 2 hours away.) Hunter knew that he was suppose to get it. He had been eying a toy a Walmart. We told him that he can get it when Granny sends him his card. Months later no card. He was upset that she promised and didn't send it. We ended up buying the toy for him. It's not like she doesn't have the money. She's full of broken promises. I think it's a trait that one picks up when you live in Southern Illinois. They have different morals than the rest of the world.

Ok my rant about MIL is over for now. Thankfully I don't see her much. I'm sure that I won't see her when I have Fender. I'm not sure if it'll be a blessing or if it'll hurt Billy that is mom doesn't show up.

Why can't my contractions be regular?

It's super annoying to have them, be dilated to 4cm, and not in active labor.

I'm making Billy finish up Easter shopping for the boys tonight. We just need some things to fill up plastic eggs with.

In the morning (as long as I'm able to) I'm going to take Hunter to JcPenny to get him some spring clothes.
