Getting to know you!

This is my first "Getting to Know You!"

1.) If you had $5000.00 to spend on plastic surgery what would you have done?
I would probably pick a breast lift. Nursing has not treated them well.

2.) Do you watch Soap operas and if so what is your favorite and why?
No. I don't watch Soap Operas. I don't watch too much TV.

3.) Favorite clothing brand?
Juicy Couture for sure!

4.) An afternoon shopping spree at your favorite store or maid service for a year?
Maid Service for sure. It'd sure be nice not to clean up after my boys. Oh, and my laundry would always be done!

5.) Would you ever vajazzle?
No. Wouldn't it hurt taking it off? OUCH!

6.) Favorite Disney Princess?
Cinderella.

7. Last movie that made you bawl your eyes out?
I honestly don't know. I don't really watch tear jerkers. I'm a comedy sort of person.

8. Have you ever broken any bones and if so what?
Nope.

Bloggers Against Drunk Driving Pledge To Stay Sober & Alive

I joined this blog hop, because I feel strongly about drinking and driving. It's such a stupid thing to do and yet so many people drive drunk daily. My family is full of alcoholics and most have had a DUI at some point in their life. My father is included. He got one before I was born. He still drinks, but he doesn't drive and drive.

It's a very common sight where I live to see people drinking and driving. They don't even try to hide it. My husband has witnessed many people sitting with beers between their legs, while he is out driving. I don't understand how people can be so irresponsible.

Attention Bloggers
The Department of Transportation has asked American bloggers to spotlight the critical importance of staying sober behind the wheel this Independence Day. I am very against drinking and driving as I was almost hit by a drunk driver. Luckily a friend of mine was driving in front of me and saw the driver coming off of the highway directly at me and swerved into him, blocking him from hitting me. The police said that I would have been seriously hurt if the driver had hit me instead. My friend's car was totaled and he had to go to physical therapy for a long time. Think before you drink and drive. You normally will be okay but the person you hit might be killed. They also might have their family in the car or just as bad, be someones mother, father, child or loved one.

This also goes for all of you that text and drive. It's the same as being drunk. Nothing is that important that you can't pull over or wait until you get home. You probably say it won't happen to you because you know you are safe when you do it but it can happen to anyone.

Safe a life, Drive safe!

Summer is here!

The weather here in, Missouri, is definitely

H-O-T!

I love going to bed on warm summer nights. I love the breeze blowing in my windows. I love the fresh air. It's very relaxing to hear the insects chirping.

Speaking of insects! Tonight the boys and I are going outside to find fireflies! A childhood memory of mine is going outside on summer nights with my cousins and collecting fireflies! We put them into glass jars with holes in them. It was fun watching the fascinating creatures! We always released them back into the wild before we went to bed at night.

Happy Father's Day!

To my wonderful husband. Happy Father's Day!

Thank you for working so hard for our family. Him working a lot has allowed me to stay at home with the boys. I am so appreciative of that. He will never know how grateful I am to stay at home with the boys.

Thank you for being such a wonderful father.

To my dad, I love you. I hope that you know that I love being Daddy's little girl.

June 17th

Yesterday, Fedex dropped off a package. I was excited because I thought it was my Hotslings AP. I opened the box and I was shocked! A full size bottle of All Oxi Active was in there. I was seriously confused. I sign up for samples from time to time, but this was obviously no sample. Nor was I expecting a sample from All. I looked on the package for some kind of clue. On the packing label it mentioned a product that I won from a giveaway. Turns out that it was packaged wrong. I contacted the host of the product I was suppose to win. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't sure if I needed to send it back or what. She contacted someone who told me to keep the All and they would send me out what I was suppose to win! Awesome!

The bottle of All that was sent to me! I can't wait to try it out! My two oldest boys are pretty ruff on their clothes. This will be perfect for them!

Billy and I took the boys outside to play in a small pool. It was a baby pool that I bought when Ryder was small. We had resort to it, since our other pool got a hole in it. They didn't seem to mind!

Neither did Oreo. It was a big water bowl to him!

Ryder was pretty fascinated by a plane that kept flying over head. He got upset when the plane stopped flying by.

The sunflowers!

WEEEE!

Father's Day

I've been looking for crafts for the boys and I to make Billy for Father's Day.

I will be putting this in a frame.

Can you tell which one is from a wiggly 2 year old?

If you guess the one on the left, you are right! Ryder would not cooperate!

This is what the paper reads:

My Hand Print
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But everyday I'm growing big
And soon I'll be very tall
Then all my little hand prints
Will be hard to recall
So here's a special hand print
Just so that you can say
this is how my fingers looked
when I placed them here today.

We will be making more tomorrow and Saturday!

I won this unique gift on Hip2save it was from Mon Petit Chou Boutique

I am seriously in love with this gift! It is a spoon that was hammered and made into a key-chain!

Five

Hunter is so excited that he is now 5. He asks me everyday, "Mommy, am I still 5?" It's so cute. One day I playfully said, "No, you're 6 now." He was was so upset, he was in tears. I guess I can't do that anymore!

While we were outside playing yesterday, he wanted to keep drawing fives with chalk.

The pink one is mine and the purplish color is his! (p.s. those are Ryder's little hands)

Anniversary

Yesterday was my 6th wedding anniversary! I can't believe that it's been 6 wonderful years!

This is Ryder's new cup holder.

This is a hotsling that I won from a contest they had on twitter! I love the pattern!

Yard Sales & FFC

I went to a few yard sales yesterday. The boys got some toys. That's pretty much all I bought.

We met my parents and my aunt at the Family Fun Center in Bonne Terre. We had fun. Hunter loved the go-karts!

Homeschool

Ever since I had Hunter I have tossed the idea of homeschooling around a lot. Today, I have officially decided that is what I want to do with the boys!

Happy Birthday Hunter!

My boy is 5 years old today! It's hard to believe that this day 5 years ago, I first became a mom!

Sunflowers

The boys and I are growing sunflowers. We planted the seeds about a week and a half ago. They sure sprouted fast!

Hunter's cake

I was going to buy Hunter a cake this year. Turns out that I'm not Why? He wants a monster truck cake and I have a great idea for one. I'm going to make a dirt cake and use monster trucks on top. I'm going to put the normal gummy worms in the cake. It'll be a neat surprise for Hunter!
